Nathan Ryan Glad was not supposed to survive birth. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah with a condition called Osteogensis Imperfecta (OI), more commonly known as brittle bone dis- ease. Nathan has the most severe form of OI of anyone living today.
Despite the daunting challenges Nathan faces daily, he chooses to be happy every day of his life. His personal motto is the inspiration for this book’s title: “Every day is the best day ever.” In August of 2023, Nathan met with bestselling author Richard Paul Evans to discuss the writing and publishing of this book—something Evans passionately encouraged. Nathan currently lives in Taylorsville, Utah with his mother and two siblings.
